More Global Collaborative Sites

These sites were highlighted in Anita McAnear's article "Educators are Going Global" in the November 2007 issue of Learning & Leading with Technology and with the exception of the last two, which focus on global warming, the projects on the sites address a wide variety of subjects including international affairs and diplomacy, online expeditions, journalism, geography, etc.

ePals

ePals is a wonderful way to connect with e-mail buddies across the world to work collaboratively on projects such as coping with natural disasters, solving water problems, and global warming. Classes may also come up with projects of their own.
